EXCEED project kicks off, an European Alliance for eco-digital innovation in advanced manufacturing

The kick off meeting of the EXCEED project, funded by the Commission under the Erasmus Program and aimed at green and digital innovation in advanced manufacturing will be held on November 9-10. The project is coordinated by Centoform, a VET Centre, accredited by the Emilia-Romagna Region that has its headquarters in Cento (FE) and aims to develop an international network of training centers of excellence in advanced, digital and green manufacturing.

Opening remarks are scheduled by:

Anna Barbieri, Team Leader for Apprenticeships and Erasmus+ at DG EMPL of the European Commission;
Francesca Bergamini, Head of Education, Education, Training, Labor Sector – Emilia-Romagna Region;
Massimiliano Mazzanti, Director of the Department of Economics and Management, University of Ferrara.

The meeting will be attended by partners (Universities, Training Institutions, Enterprises, Public Bodies) from 5 different European countries (Finland, Spain, Czech Republic, Greece). The Project “EXCEED-Excellence in green and digital manufacturing,” is a 4-year project, which started last June and is aimed at innovating training curricula related to the advanced manufacturing sector to support the green and digital transition, thanks to the collaboration of No. 39 partners, including development agencies, regional governments, universities, companies, training institutions, and schools, from 5 European countries, such as Italy, Greece, Finland, Czech Republic and Spain.
