The Policy Board of the EXCEED – Excellence in Green and Digital Manufacturing project concluded the programme’s final Study Visit in Athens, representing a decisive moment to consolidate the results of the first two years of activity and strengthen dialogue between institutions, training providers and businesses in the partner territories.

During the meeting, participants explored the Greek vocational training system, with a particular focus on policies for lifelong learning and technical-technological training. The sessions provided an opportunity to compare the SWOT analyses conducted in each project territory, systematising strengths, weaknesses and potentially transferable strategies.

The thematic workshops stimulated collective reflection on ways to attract and retain talent in the VET sector, with specific reference to the skills required by the digital and green transition. The approach adopted favoured direct interaction between project partners, trainers and members of the Policy Board, encouraging the exchange of best practices applicable in different territorial contexts.

The field visits were particularly valuable: the HELMEPA association, active in marine environmental protection and technical training in the maritime sector, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC), a cultural and innovative hub that integrates sustainability, research and social impact.

EXCEED – Excellence in Green and Digital Manufacturing is a project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, involving ART-ER in collaboration with Centoform and CIS Formazione, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
