The EXCEED project has published Deliverable D2.6, International Talent Factory in Advanced Manufacturing, a new framework designed to help European regions attract, integrate and retain skilled professionals in the Advanced Manufacturing sector.
The document introduces a territorial approach to Talent Attraction Management, placing vocational education and training at the centre of international talent strategies. The model follows the learner journey through three key stages: before training, during the learning experience and throughout the transition into employment.
A central component is the EXCEED International Talent Factory Matrix, developed through a co-creation process involving project partners, stakeholders and policy representatives from Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Greece and Finland. The matrix provides an operational tool for mapping existing services and designing new measures for local, European and non-EU VET learners.
The framework highlights the importance of coordinated action among public authorities, education and training providers, and the manufacturing sector to create inclusive learning pathways and sustainable career opportunities within regional Advanced Manufacturing ecosystems.
